What We're All About
The Oysterhead Pizza Co. first opened its doors in October of 2019. Our focus is on providing Midcoast Maine with premium wood-fired pizza made from the best ingredients available to us. Much like Maine itself, that means from both here and away. Our tomatoes and flour are from Italy, our vegetables, oysters, and beer are local, and our dough, sausage and meatballs are made in house. Small plates, local oysters, salads and whatever else Chef Nick decides to create are what we are all about. While our core menu will remain consistent, our offerings will change based on the seasons and our ability to access great ingredients. Vegan and gluten-free options are always on the menu. Our wine list consists mostly of mediterranean selections from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece. For beer, we always offer two drafts and Midcoast Maine's best local can line-up. Our cooking and baking is all done in our wood-fired oven made from Italian stone combined with modern technology. For whatever the reason or season, dine-in or take-out, the Oysterhead Pizza Co. is a great choice for lunch or dinner.
